Through Grace Baptist Church Youth Ministries and HCA, we offer two drama teams – one for High School and one for Junior High. Both teams meet once a week and strive to serve God and our communities through dramatic performance.
Pulse, the junior high drama ministry team, holds to a truth expressed in James 2: With every heartbeat I will show you my faith by my actions. Pulse performs six or more times yearly in junior high chapels, high school chapels, and on Sunday mornings at Grace Baptist Church. Students learn to glorify God through their passion for drama.
Image, our high school drama ministry team, stands for: In my Acting God is Exalted. The team lives by the verse I Peter 4:10-11: Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms… Students learn to be examples not only on stage but in every part of their lives. Image team members are encouraged to live by this motto: “Keep the drama on the stage and focus on a relationship with God first – then on relationships with others!”
