The role of the Highlands Christian Academy Guidance Program is to provide comprehensive and personal services that address all aspects of our students lives so that they are equipped and prepared to transition from Highlands to college and career, and to impact this world for God’s Kingdom.

The guidance program has two main functions:

School Counseling:

• Personal and social well being.
• Classroom developmental guidance
• Assistance in interpreting standardized test results.

College Counseling:

• Development and maintenance of a personalized college and career plan via individual parent/student sessions
• Informational presentations on college planning and preparedness (Admissions process, financial aid, and going to college as a Christian).
• Research and communication of scholarship opportunities
• Maintain resources of college information.
