Highlands Christian Academy (HCA) offers an exciting drama program including improvisation, classical, and contemporary scripted performances. The theater department produces two main performances each school year—a dinner/dessert theater in the fall and a musical each spring. Productions include children from HCA’s Elementary School, Junior High, and High School.

At HCA, we believe drama and theater enhances the academic and social development of students by providing opportunities to explore and develop skills related to public speaking, dance, choreography, voice projection, and music. The dramatic arts contribute to education by stimulating imagination, creativity, reasoning, expression, and communication. In addition, theater helps students become well-rounded citizens by promoting teamwork, organization, commitment, and service.

Recent productions at HCA include: Cinderella, Singin’ in the Rain, Meet Me in St. Louis, Sound of Music, and Seven Brides for Seven Brothers.
