In October 2011, the Drama Department presented the play Little Women to an excited audience that also enjoyed a Christmas Tea. A huge success, the play was made possible through the leadership of Miss Julie Method, the assistance of Mrs. Debbie Lineman, and the coordinating efforts of Mrs. Maritza Chapman. The actors, actresses, and supporting crew – composed of talented HCA students – made our school proud through their outstanding results and their hard work.
Every fall at HCA, productions like Little Women allow students to display the creative abilities and gifts they are developing through participation in the Drama Department. Typically smaller scale and often more off-the-wall than the spring musical, the fall play allows our Drama Department to be extra creative, performing everything from murder mystery dinner theaters, to multiple One-Acts, to the well-loved Little Women.
